Born in Ohio, I lived in this boring state all my life (25 years of it so far) and have dreamed of becoming an actress. Technically,because of the 48 Hour Film Project back in July of 2005 I achieved that dream unintentionally. I played a detective.
My inspiration was Kathryn Erbe from Law & Order: CI , but let me get back to my current dream. I plan to become a camera assistant (first preferably)
then work my way up the ladder to Director of Photography, then FINALLY, at the pinnacle of my career, I hope to be a director. Right now, however, I am also falling in love with video editing! It's very fun to see it all come together. I'm poor, though, and have no money for an Avid system/Apple computer -- but I *have* upgraded from Windows Movie Maker to Sony Movie Studio; I also have ACID Music Studio to make my own music. Hopefully I can soon make a crappy little 5 minute movie that I can edit and put up filmed with my consumer camera... I also have no money for a DVX-100... though if I had the money, I would want the new DVX-100B.
I have an account on YouTube with which I get out my fan vids of It, as well as other things. As you see up there, my 'company' is MORBID KITTY PRODUCTIONS, and that's the new logo I just made.
I know it requires a lot of knowledge, creativity, patience, and GUTS, but it's my dream. I hope to some day become a great 'actor's director' like Steven Spielberg, Rob Reiner, and Peter Jackson.
What's great is I share a birthday with Steven Spielberg [December 18th to be exact].
I have a couple of original script ideas floating around, one of them having the starring role played by Ben Heller himself, if I ever finish it and find him and propose it and he likes it and he agrees... God I hope so!
Ok, ok. About the site. I built it because I've been obsessed with the movie Stephen King's IT since I was in like 6th grade - and I had a crush on Jonathan Brandis
at one time too by the way... but once I saw the movie I'd also 'crushed' on Ben Heller as 'Stan' as well. Not only cuz he was such a cutie who had grrrreeaaatt hair, but because he was one of the better actors in the film. I've been haunted by Ben Heller since then, wondering where he is and why he isn't acting any more.
Well, now I have my own site to honor him with, as well as the book!
So there it is. My Bio...
And yes I am an only child - don't bug me about being a brat, OTAY? Otay. :)
