I have come to find out that Henry Bowers, Belch, & Patrick - the teenaged villains of Stephen King's It -
actually have a fan following. [Mostly just Henry, but I, personally, also wanted to include the other 2 major bullies.] It's not up to me to quarrel about the fact that these 3 fellows are actually bullies, are mean, and deserved their demise. But it is up to me to show that they are also a part of the film, play a major role in a lot of the events, and also have some funny lines at times [even if they *are* mean].
And so I present to you: .
» Bio «
In the book Henry was much meaner than he was in the movie. In the movie he bullied kids, dogs, and even tormented his teacher by being held back in her class for at least 2 years. His victims were bullied for all different reasons: their economic statis, their religion, their color, even their weight. In the book he poisoned Mike Hanlon's dog, which was one reason Mike didn't like Henry. Henry mostly didn't like Mike because their fathers had had a run-in with each other *back in the day* and the spat passed on to the two younger boys. You hear this even in the film: "You've been giving me and my daddy grief for a long, long time." He's much more serious about his hatred and how he acts out on it compared to his followers.
» Bio «
"Belch" got his nickname for the reasons you would *think* - because he belches a lot; why, I'm not sure. He thinks it's funny, cool, or likes to annoy/disgust people with it I guess. Either way, he's half-serious about how he acts out on his hatred for the people Henry targets. He didn't want Henry to cut Ben Hanscom any more than Patrick did, but is braver than Patrick even though the 2 of them ran away during the "Apocalyptic Rock Fight". He mainly just likes to pick on people.
» Bio «
Patrick in the film is a most likely a mish-mash of 2 characters from the book. Only the name is probably based on the "Patrick Hockstetter" character in the book; the character's actions, however, are based on "Victor Criss" - only because he is one of the people who tend to hang out with Henry *a lot*, and also because of the incident with Ben Hanscom. The Patrick in the film is just a mere follower who wants to be "in" but can't think for himself, although he *did* tell Henry to "not really cut" Ben Hanscom, and was a scaredy-cat when it came to going into the sewer on his own when they went to attack the Losers. The character Patrick is based on, Victor Criss, was much the same so it seemed. The "Stupid Little Baby Dam" rant was taken right from Victor's dialogue in the book - which goes to show he, too, just likes to pick on people.

»During their attack on Stan, the deadlights approach through a pipe. "Hey Henry?"

»Henry: "So what are you two girls doing down here?", Patrick: "Hey look at the dam, his stupid little baby dam" (laugh)
»Belch: "Hey look, it's the fat boy" and Patrick's line
»Patrick: "Ta ta, girls", Belch's *solo*
»Patrick: "Come on, don't really cut him!", Henry: "Cut him? Huh? Cut him!?"
»Nobody kicks me, you better run boy, you're dead you fat pig, etc. barage by the bullies
»Henry makes sure Bill & Eddie didn't see a "fat kid" run by them...
»Henry: "Hey, what's this?", Patrick: "Looks like a geek wading pool to me", (laughs) Belch has his "solo"
»Henry: "Gimme that", Eddie: "That's for my asthma", Henry: "Oh, is that a fact, sissy?"
»Mike: "Give it here!", Henry: "Give it here... or what boy? Or what?"
»Belch's solo (lol) & Henry: "Hi, kid. I guess you're the 1st" when they grab Stan

»Ben: "What do you want?", Henry: "I wanna teach you something, porky. You like to learn new things, huh? I wanna make sure you remember my name.", Ben: "I'll remember your name...", Henry: "I'm gonna make sure"

»Patrick: "Where they goin?", Belch:"Down in the sewer stupid", Henry: "Yeah, and guess what? They're not comin back out."
»Bill: "Get Out", Henry: "What if I won't?", Bill: "I think the 6 of us could put you in the hospital"
»Eddie: "Why did you do that?", Henry: "Cuz I felt like it"
»A barage of "you're gonna die", "you're dead", "we're gonna bury you" after Ben kicked Henry and he fell down the hill.
